I have explored both Twitter and Facebook. However, being more familiar and common with Facebook I found it much more useful and easier to navigate. Facebook is a great social networking site however I do not believe it is useful in the classroom. This site should be private and as all teachers and teacher candidates should know, you must be very careful of the information placed on public social networking sites. Facebook has been a wonderful way for me to connect with past teachers and keep them current with my success and education however, students and teachers should have separate lives on these sites.
